Someone who was a big fan of Ann Rice’s vampire world and Lastat & Louie’s relationship would love this because this for those dark paranormal vampire fans. It is its own thing. lesbian vampires. I’m really really enjoying it. I love the complexity of the writing it’s not too dense to get into, but it has maturity in it that I don’t often feel in a popular books nowadays.

This book!! I feel like this is what I’ve been looking for in a dark gothic fantasy.
I love the super dark imagery that makes me check the shadows for giant spider like creatures 😱 I am so glad I went into this blind without a lot of details. It really has made my October.
