Book Club had convinced me to DNF this, but I talked myself out of it. It is DREADFUL, though.

It is so bad that my Kindle has become this ominous object. It's started omitting sinister music, I genuinely dread reading this.

Still can't being myself to DNF.

The main character in this is exhausting. The first thing she does when she meets a new person is rattle her her intense list of mental health problems, and apart from horror movies, it's all she talks about.

What a mess of a book.

Thoroughly enjoying this. I had my eye on it for a while. The challenges gave me the nudge I needed. Very glad.

I'm finally going to see the movie on Tuesday, so I'm really trying to finish before then! Ahead of schedule, so all should be fine.

This is improving, but it is incredibly slow. I've said before about other books, "It's not so much a slow-burn as a no-burn," and that feels appropriate here. Half way through and very little of note has happened.

I am not into this so far, hoping it improves. It's just a bit tedious, it's been a long 38 pages.

I'd be done if I'd actually put the time in to reas today - weird though, 15% to go, and it doesn't feel like it's ending yet. Still feels like a lot has to happen.
