AHHH!!!!!! I’M LOVING THIS!!!!!!!

I swear I am enjoying this book, put every time I pick it up I fall asleep.

You can tell that this was written 2018, in just a few pages we got heavy "not like other girls” vibes, and just a sprinkle of transphobia and ableism.

I don’t think this author is for me... I really don’t want to dnf so early in the year...

Am I enjoying the angst? Yes. Do I feel uncomfortable about everything else going on? Yes.

This was another gift from last year, and while I’m enjoying the representation, it feels a bit childish.

I know caretaking is a very consuming process and it can lead to someone losing a part of themselves, but as someone who receives the caretaking this book has made me feel uncomfortable and guilty to a certain point. Every time I pick it up I feel sense of dread. While I am interested in the mystery aspect of finding this weird book, I am not sure if I'll continue with it.

I only want to read God of Wrath and God of Fury, but apparently I have to read this one first, and so far I'm bored... I don't know if it's me or the book, but I'm struggling a lot to get through it.

Already disliking the ableist narrative. I'm going to continue hoping that it's a very small aspect of this book.

I put off reading to find the right time and was kind of hoping that the hype would die down so that I wouldn't be influenced by it, but that never happened and now the movie is around the corner and I want to read the book before watching it. So, in the end, there's no right time like today. I'm just hoping it's not insta-love 'cause I just can't with that trope.

This is not going as well as the second one.

This is why I don't like to DNF books early on, I initially wasn't really feeling this book, but the more I read, the more I enjoy this dynamic between the main characters.
