I don’t know how Abercrombie comes up with these characters. This group of idiots is somehow even more dysfunctional and hopeless than the previous groups of idiots in his other books. And I mean “idiots” endearingly…mostly. Every time I think they couldn’t possibly screw things up any more, they somehow manage to make things more fucked up on an astronomical level.

10/22 hours of the audiobook completed so far and literally nothing has happened. Had high expectations for this series. I’ll continue listening, hopefully the pace will pick up. Also are there any women in this book? Multiple povs, all from men 🙂
