I don’t know how Abercrombie comes up with these characters. This group of idiots is somehow even more dysfunctional and hopeless than the previous groups of idiots in his other books. And I mean “idiots” endearingly…mostly. Every time I think they couldn’t possibly screw things up any more, they somehow manage to make things more fucked up on an astronomical level.
