This read hasn't been as exciting as I'd hoped, feeling a bit dull so far. I'm sticking with it though, as I'm really enjoying the accents in the audiobook! I'm on Chapter 5 and hoping it picks up soon. 🤞🎧

The introduction has been very interesting so far. I am interested in how and when Axel will disclose his true nature to Charlotte, and how she will react given her past trauma.

I hoped to complete this book by the end of 2025 and add it to my list for that year, but circumstances didn't allow for it. However, I'm even more excited now because it means it will be the first good-rated book on my 2026 list!

This book's a real slog, super hard to get through and kinda dull, but I'm almost there, so I'm gonna power through to the end.
