Can’t seem to find a book that’s gripping me recently, but this one has been great so far! Liking the narrative style, and the characterization reminds me slightly of Joe Abercrombie’s characters in The Devils. I know this is a cult classic and that the last book just came out too!

So glad to be back in this world, hoping I can remember all the characters!

Read this on the plane - started very info-dumpy and sounded inexperienced. Liking it more now, we’ll see if I finish it.

I’m missing Fitz. I picked this up because I’m traveling and have had shit reads recently. But I keep trying to picture the MMC within the Realm and that’s not where he exists! Very similar Fitz vibes tho

Not sure how I feel about this

This book talks about The Wall, which is a dystopian that I bought when I bought this book! Crazy crossover, I didn’t realize they could exist in the same universe.

This woman is so introverted and OCD but still so real

BARS!! But also - everyone saying Kennitt is the best antagonist (one you root for, one you understand)…are we just glossing over this scene or am I missing something?

I’m liking this, it’s just slower than book 1. & Malta is super unlikable
