The character of Olivia is written like she is a paranoid 14 year old instead of a college intern!

At the end of chapter 7, why doesn't Tammy share her room with Abigail?? What's with all the spiders? So far a weird book

Early on in n the book I find it annoying that Clara, main character/daughter interchangeably calls her mother “Ma” or “Tamar”. I can’t figure out why she doesn’t stick with one or the other when speaking of her mom. And her best friends are named Sunshine and Brown?? I hope to finish this book, but it’s possible I quit early.

This could be a good book…. Will finish it but it jumps around so much. On one page it is 1880, and 3 pages later it is 1877, 6 pages later it is 1883. The beginning is confusing because it introduces so many characters.

This is a tough read, the parts about Andy Griffith are interesting. Some chapters (52) seem totally irrelevant. The Author skips all over the place with his story. Chronological order would be a great help. I'll finish this only to see how the author wraps this up.

This book is so good, it is hard to do anything but read 😁

Not sure if I should finish, this is not a good book would not recommend and might just jump to what I’m sure will be a stupid ending for all of the shallow characters
