What in fresh hell is happening. The blurb does not describe the book at all

Really really liking it so far- it’s the first book about motherhood I have read that is talking about the experience of being a mother without relating it to their own mother- they are a mother outside their family circle- they are a mother alone, single, not talking about their lineage or too much about their own childhood

I mean everyone and their mum has read it so I guess I better………… I actually have never read Harry Potter but I feel like I’m reading Harry Potter rn
