Audiobook started out lovely, but I got bored among the way. Sometimes it’s a risk to hear something I’ve previously read.

Still at the first gang-bang scene. Maybe it’s just not my thing, but it feels really disconnected. Roboters would have more…more everything.

Not happy with the writing style. Pages of pages of how Maicon is this…phenomenon. Boring.

Chapter: totally confused about who is who.

Why do people always need to point out differences? I get that André is French, why do es this have to be a topic every third sentence?

…there was the sentence “boys will be boys” (as in men will make stupid jokers no matter what). In the current political climate I get associations to SA “well, boys will be boys, nothing too to about it”. Stop using that sentence!

First chapter is annoying.

Very dancing in the beginning and one dimensional view of trauma being the reason for abuse.

Way to much sex and jarring transitions from chapter to chapter.

Chapter 2. so far, the writing is really superficial.

The writing is really…technical and uninspiring.

Hng. The Kink is lovely, everything else not so much.

I know it’s fiction, but for it being set in the 30s, it’s awfully Victorian 🤨…and the use of modern language is also distracting.
