This was a little nonsensical, but was also delightful. British hero who used darling endlessly was an excellent choice. Holiday romanic suspense romcom for the win. (Jensen and Natalie were lovely. I kept picturing Natalie from Love Actually and that was also quite fun.)

The enemies part here is very strong and a little bit borderline childish for me. I think Mac and Annie have always been tolerable in the other books because their bickering was limited. It's a bit more constant here and is driving me a little nuts.

It was bittersweet to finish the Sparrow Falls series. I found this series first (then proceeded to inhale CC's entire backlog this year). Kyr and Fallon were delightful and I loved getting to finally read their love story. And, let's be real: the silliness of the Colson crew is fantastic.

Kye and his sisters and their growth throughout was so special. I could've read an entire book just about their adventures.

This was cutesy and had plenty of holiday cheer. And I liked the hockey side plot.

I think I'm learning holiday novellas might not be my cup of tea since it feels like everything moves way too fast.

This one got better as it went on. Didn't love the fed here but mostly because he just dropped in out of left field.

But it was a really good, quick read. Her books are very binge readable.

I'm still trying to figure out how to feel about the Angelhart characters. I loved the Max Revere series and the Quinn and Costa books too.

The mystery is right at the point where there are a whole bunch of half baked theories and ideas that aren't quite pulled together. Yet.

I love how much this one felt like Gallagher Girls all grown up. It gives us all the background on Kozlov that we didn't quite get in The Blonde Identity. And Alex and King were so much fun with their bickering and banter that turned into something more.

Ally Carter and spy novels are the most excellent match and I am moat definitely enjoying this one.

This is delightful. Adult Gallagher Girls is so much fun.

Easily one of my favorite reads of the year. Harriet and Nolan were delightful. Not wanting to be alone, not shrinking yourself down for others...those both hit hard. Harriet's relationship with her parents, specifically her mother hit so hard.

This was the coziest holiday read with plenty of sugar and spice, a bit of holiday magic and two people finding each other who were always meant to find each other.

This is one I've been looking forward to for holiday reads. Harriet and Nolan are too precious already. My brain immediately went to the Mediator series I read in middle school and then a little dash of Julie and the Phantoms - I don't entirely know how/why, but there we are.

This was cutesy and fun and the ending was adorable.

This is 171 pages and if I wasn't in a moving vehicle, I would have thrown my kindle. It is *that* bad.

ARC review to come. This reminded me of the Icebreaker/Unsteady (Peyton Corinne)/Elle Kennedy hockey books in that it involved college hockey. I had to remind myself repeatedly that the leftover high school drama part of the backstory made sense because it was just a few years later.

Overall though, it was a fun read and I enjoyed it. Was the drama a little much for me at times? Yes. Still enjoyed it though!

This is in the running for one of my favorites of the whole year. Adam and June, my heart. The dual timeline was done SO well. There's something about books set in NYC that is a little extra special (and chaotic) but it draws me in just a little bit more. This felt like a believable second-chance story. There were so many little moments that added up to form such a beautiful picture of love.

This reminds me of the way Emily Henry books make me feel but make it autumn. There's this nostalgic vibe from the dual timeline and it's hitting exactly right.

Was definitely reading this and forgetting to update, oops. This was such a wonderful way to end this series. Charlie was adorable. I knew there'd be little bits of Cleo that hit home, but it was the oldest sister parts that really hit hard for me.

Liv shoving Grady to get his girl and the matchmaking attempts from Cleo's dad had me cackling.
