tbh i really only liked Amber Sweet, the rest made me feel kind of gross

just finished The Colour Out of Space— one of the better lovecraft stories for sure. you can tell 'cause there are two female characters, and one even has a name!!
abt 3/4 through reading this, i caught a glimpse of the cover and burst out laughing cause the drawing makes the Colour look a bit feminine and reading that story through the lens of like pervasive horniness of a foreign woman is insane

lowk kinda boring and feels like it's missing the point of criticizing a fascist govt... hoping some more bits and bobs come together later one but i really feel like this book could've been condensed down. maybe that's why the chapters are so short now.
