just finished The Colour Out of Space— one of the better lovecraft stories for sure. you can tell 'cause there are two female characters, and one even has a name!!
abt 3/4 through reading this, i caught a glimpse of the cover and burst out laughing cause the drawing makes the Colour look a bit feminine and reading that story through the lens of like pervasive horniness of a foreign woman is insane

ok well now i feel a little stupid cause i flipped the book over and the drawing is actually an unrelated painting but still!!! they chose it for a reason!!!!
