Hmmm not quite notes, more like pseudo-memoir-commentary with both anecdotal and scientific content to boot. Not a fan of when sections start waxing poetic, but I am a fan of when Amanda brings up a statement and backs it up with science in a primary source.

I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH I expected an inordinate amount of comprehensive historical, socioeconomic, biological, and spiritual facts about eggs and the author delivered!!!!

Heartwrenchingly lovely and empowering.

Delicate and tense. At this point in the story there is physical and psychilogical abuse so I'm making a note of it here in the hopes this warning can provide use to anyone interested in reading it.

Drawing from the instructions to deadlift is something I appreciate very much from the author. Physical to emotional cues are sticking with me in a more visceral, natural way.

Another audiobook I decided to listen to while playing Minecraft. I just wanted to enter a flow state and learn about barn owls and here we are.

Started this because I wanted something I could farm to in Minecraft. Unironically loving this so far!

Just the kind of dark, twisted domestic thriller I was hoping for. Anxious for the climax, ending, and fallout.

In the thick of it, tensions are rising throughout all the main plot and subplot threads!!

Interesting, though more casual than I would've preferred so far.

Esoteric & whimsical. The world is so rich with mystery.

A lot of therapy-speak so far, and I disagree with the author's perspective on fatphobia. That will never go away, in my opinion, and I very much believe it's for good reason. However, I do really like this as my intro to embodied therapy.

Absolutely devouring this story. Domestic psychological thrillers are something I usually gravitate towards and I am eager to see what twists this story takes.
