This book is very bad. He writer shouldn’t write “giving sass”, she should write sentences that gives that vibe.
Also there should have been more sass. There was only one scene where they met she was giving sass, never again

The girl can get the man who owns a brothel. A normal woman would want him to do nothing with the women in there but this one tries to persuade him to go to war to save those women.
