I love getting a book on Libby thats been on my hold list for MONTHS and not re-reading the synopsis. Whats this book about? Literally no fucking idea but Im just going in with a vibe and an open mind

Everytime something horrific happens, I think "ok this is the big bad thing that leads to the end of the book" but then I look and im only slightly over half finished. This has happened like four times.
Like damn Kristen, let these characters come up for air

Im not as into this Kristen Hannah book as others and unsure if ill finish before my rental is due.

I fully realize part of the reason why Im not liking it is because its making me realize that, while I love survival crafting cozy farm games, I would not be successful or happy lmao

The set up for this book made me think it was going to be a five star read. But then she just said Coors Light is delicious so now the author has lost all credibility and is at risk of being DNF-ed.
