Everytime something horrific happens, I think "ok this is the big bad thing that leads to the end of the book" but then I look and im only slightly over half finished. This has happened like four times.

Im not as into this Kristen Hannah book as others and unsure if ill finish before my rental is due.
I fully realize part of the reason why Im not liking it is because its making me realize that, while I love survival crafting cozy farm games, I would not be successful or happy lmao
