A little something light to get me out of this TERRIBLE reading slump

Hey I’m bored

The dedication page is already sending me into orbit, I don’t even think I can write it on here…

The mother of all slow burns…. They fr just been looking at each other and making small talk, SOMEONE DO SOMETHING ANYTHING

Chapter 1: “there’s something in the way he stares at me, like a starved man who’s contemplating a heinous acts” IM SO COOKED😵‍💫😮‍💨

“Don’t praise your goddess. Praise me, your king” 😮‍💨😮‍💨

Currently adding Rowin to the list of top tear shadow daddies ✍🏼💀

It’s giving “Lights Out” and I’m absolutely living for it tehehehe

Now that that snooze-fest of a book is finally done, let’s get back to the good stuff 😋

NO NO NO “It’s okay, I whisper” NO NO ITS NOT PLEASSEEEE 😭😭😭😭😭

Lauren roberts you sly girl, I think I know exactly what you’re setting us up for 🤫😮‍💨

“You may think he’s right for you, but what if I am too” STAAAAAPPPPP IIITTTTTT👹👹👹

If this turns into a “why choose” I’m going to literally crash OUT. Both men are making me giggle and kick me feet 🥵🫠

Snooze fest. This is putting me IN a reading slump

The dedication has me teeming with excitement and the big ass font size has my grandma eyes thanking the authors. This seems very Fouth Wing coded so I think it’s fitting following the :/ of onyx storm

Just got home from the midnight release party, SO “cellphones on silent and shut your fucking mouths. The show is about to begin…” RRRAAAA👹👹👹

I’m on page one of my 3rd re-read of this series and I’m CRASHING OUT. How did I miss these subtle details TWICE??? I literally have no one to crash out to about this and I’m ILL

FULL BODY CHILLS EVERY SINGLE TIME

I forgot how much I can’t stand Dain… and to think he only gets WORSE😫

Now that the writing is comprehensible, I am throughly enjoying this. Giggling and kicking my feet 🤭

I don’t know what the hell is happening in this book. The style of writing is so odd and random, nothing I’ve read makes an ounce of sense

I’ve been waiting on the, “who did this to you?” And I STILL eat it up every time 🤭

Listening to my first audiobook simply because the TikTok clips of the MMC’s voice have me ROLLING. His inner monologue is cracking me up

I know this book is long but i sigh every time I see “55min left in chapter” on my kindle. Like dam these are long chapters but I think I like it so far mainly bc we have met our SHADOW DADDY AAHHH

Ok so I’ve fallen asleep three times reading this AND the author just announced not one but TWO more books in the series…. Everyone online is hating on this book and the fact she’s dragging this out to be 5 books. And honestly, I agree

ITS FINALLY HERE!!!

There’s a nice balance between action, politics, and fluff. It’s a nice read so far

This book just hit the shelves at target and I couldn’t resist the cover art and sprayed edges. Barely any reviews but the summary sounds interesting!!

Womp womp. Yawn
