Wtf is chapter seventeen

Chapter 11 throws me off. I feel like Cecilia and Sean’s relationship is super random given that there has been no foundation development into the relationship. Sits on his lap day 2, all of a sudden he’s kissing her face 2 weeks later, randomly spending all their free time together (but just friends). No relation build up but somehow still a slow burn. But I’m glad I’m not the only one in this boat 🤣

The home stretch 😭

I fear this book is just too smart for me 🤣💀

White buffalo calves are sacred symbols of hope. The calf represents life and a future for the Native Indian’s amid the slaughter of the buffalo herds (blackhorns) by European-American settlers.

Such a short sentence holds so much meaning and power.

Harry’s crash out was valid though

Harry was all high and mighty at the beginning of the book talking about how HE’S the one that has fought off Voldemort, but as SOOON as Hermione suggests that he should teach students dark magic b/c of his experience with Voldemort, he’s like “ThAt WaS dUmB lUcK” and is beside himself she would even suggest such a thing 🤓

Very glad they left Hermione being a bully to Luna out of the movies 🤓

Eliza and her children, like many others, deserved so much more. Theophilus Freeman can burn.
