Probably gonna DNF this and the series. It doesn’t hit like her other books I’ve read. This feels more like not well written fanfic than a fleshed out book to me. I don’t have any interest in finishing the plot the only thing that kept me reading was wanting to see what his reasoning was for leaving. It’s a poorly done miscommunication trope.
