This too shall pass. This excellently researched history of US presidents provides a hopeful perspective of the current tyrant. We the People must be informed and vigilant so our better angels can return the course of our country towards the ideals expressed in the Declaration of Independence. White supremacy and hate are not viable principles for a great country.

Slow. I only read this when work is paused and my mind is a bit bored.

In the chapter titled "Truth, proof, and insight" which expands on concepts established in earlier chapters. Because of multiple day gaps, the specifics of the earlier chapters is fading. So, a re-read of the earlier chapters seems likely in order to follow the train of thought in the current chapter.

Also, FYI my Penguin Books edition (of the original Oxford University Press version) has 466 pages - not 640.
