Structure of this book is kind of hilarious like 200 pages of character introductions, 250 pages of characters sitting around a table loredumping interspersed w akashastat murder spree, all leading up to a 23 page conclusion + 30 page epilogue ab everyone living happily on a private island..?

Already a little on the nose for my taste but I'm saving judgement until I get to the vampirism!! Mainly a distraction from doomscrolling though
