Datura’s Reviews > The Vampire Armand > Status Update

i think about everything that happened to him and have to take a lap around the room to calm down

Didn't expect this to make me nostalgic for painted eggs

Have to read this in small bites so I dont blow up

Well I get why he's like that and I haven't even got to the torture yet

having the time of my life 😁

"Remember then that it was love" +
"I'll have no wings that take me away from you"
Criminally underdiscussed line, but this whole exchange is kind of foundational

"They said a child had died in the attic."
Ok immediately reminiscent of claudias haunting presence in qotd, but this is only bc im claudiapilled
Armands attitude towards the story of the dead girl kind of a thesis statement on how he tells his own story like ok she really laid it all out in ch1
Scalping someone and 5 minutes later talking ab how much he loves lace my kind and gentle son ❤️
