I don't know why we're acting like it's a given that if you don't believe in god you don't believe in ghosts. Even if you don't think the parents believe in ghosts, if you think their child is being haunted because creepy things keep happening involving their child there is still something going on that the parents should know about.

I truly despise every character in the book. They are all either annoyingly incompetent doormats or genuinely mean for no reason at all. I specifically hate Ursula, she is on another level of bitch who refuses to take any responsibility for her actions when she purposefully is doing things to hurt other people.
