I switched to the audio, and I think I’m hearing the (juvenile) writing more than when I read it physically. I’m curious enough, but I really feel like this is an example of a book that required a heavy editing hand and didn’t get it. All respect, I understand this is a book with lots of world building and history. That being said, 20% of the book being a glorified info dump isn’t what I was excited for.
