A brilliantly written and researched book but it was too long hence dropping a star in my rating. Horrific and barbaric scenes of torture and cruelty from the Germans during two wars so be warned. However, the story gives an important historical account of the incredible bravery of real life women spying and passing vital information to aid British soldiers with no thought for their own safety.
