I'm beginning to find the Johnny Fontane part of this book more and more interesting. Nino is such a good mate.

Um, nevermind for now at least. Since the families are taking it pretty seriously, maybe it was the real Sollozzo? But I'm still skeptical.

Oh, wow, Michael actually did it. Though me being skeptical, I don't think Sollozzo is dead. There was something sus about that driver, and the way he smiled. Does Michael even know what Sollozzo looks like? They all assumed it would be the real Sollozzo that came, and not a body double. Just food for thought. I think that's also why the driver was not in the car.

Man, so many characters. I'll write down some stuff about them.

Man, the beginning part of the three different characters going through their situations and then all ending with the same, "we have to go to the Godfather" conclusion is such a great way to characterize the character without even introducing him.

Wow, the last chapter or reading segment was definitely odd. Like in the beginning, I was so lost, but after reading more and more, I began to understand that it's basically the tale of how Ghislaine became known as a Goddess of Salvation. Effectively, it's more like a side story that likely won't affect the main plot at all. Especially since it jumped to 100 years, where the goddess thing was more concrete.

Paul and Norn are alive, the Fittoa liege maybe, but Zenith, Lilia, and Aisha are missing. Paul heads to the Millis Continent, and Roxy decides to head to the Dragon King's eastern port.

Turning Point one is done.

Man, Rudeus, Rudeus, Ru-fleeping-Deus. It’s a bit different seeing Rudeus' full degeneracy on display. Of course, we knew that he was a pervert; we knew that. He literally skipped his parents’ funeral to goon. But reading his degeneracy firsthand was a bit different.

Chapter 6 done. It was an amazing chapter, especially with Ghislaine's POV at the end. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED reading that POV. We usually don’t get much from Ghislaine, so this insight from her was an enjoyable read. She even says that, “If you interacted with him only in writing, you would probably believe him if he said he was forty.” That was HILARIOUS.

Eris is now ten, so Rudeus is now 8. Her party went very smoothly; she is now fond of Rudeus, and everything seems to be progressing smoothly.

Chapter 4 is finished, and Eris changed from "fierce" to "violent" lol. The change in her personality and how she has become more mellow was nice to see. Before, she didn't like listening to what people had to say, and now she does. She's also applying herself in her studies, which is fantastic.

Rudeus' days as a tutor are passing by, as he continues to teach Eris and Ghislaine about magic, reading, writing, and arithmetic.

Rudeus and the now Young Mistress, called Eris, escaped from the kidnappers, and Rudeus saw his first taste of death close to him.

We finally got introduced to the Young Mistress, and damn, is she bad and violent.

So it's done. So to be honest, this has been my least favorite book, just because of the contrivance of the way the green cloaks became fugitives. To me it's just dumb. That put a whole sour paste in my mouth throughout the entire book. It's. Just. So. Dumb.

the Green Cloaks can just change because some imposters, that the Green Cloaks FOUGHT in the room with people watching btw, killed the king. To my past point, it doesn't make sense that the people in the room, who saw the Green Cloaks fight the imposter Green Cloaks, would just adamantly prosecute the Green Cloaks like that. It's just stupid.
