Good so far. Not uproarious, but have smiled a few times. And some of the nerdy video game refs are fully aimed at me.

Tony Sadowski is finished with Innovation for Social Change: How Wildly Successful Nonprofits Inspire and Deliver Results
This is not a bad book so far by any means, but:

1. I have read SO MANY business/innovation-focused books this year
2. I was trying to start it on a plane and that didn't go well
3. I keep getting distracted by library holds I forgot about
4. Fiction books exist

I'll get back to it at some point, but it's kind of hanging out there for the time being, and I'm finding it easy to look elsewhere for entertainment!

Repetitive. Self-hyping. Some inspiring examples of successful people, paired with a handful of actual tips. My BS meter had to be turned off going in, because I wanted to give it a try. And the basic concepts of the book make some sense – work smarter, not harder. Set bigger goals and stop being trapped by the myriad things that keep us stuck. You get the point quickly. And if not, don’t worry. It’s restated.

Well, that’s several chapters down! Enjoying it so far, even in the character introduction/world-building stage. Feels like it’ll be a quick read, I’m curious to see where it’s going. Mentioned it to my daughter already, she’ll give it a read, too.

Didn’t really want to break for the night - a good sign!
