This is a slog. I keep putting this down and then picking it back up. No joke I've read 10 books between starting this book and only 22 percent

Took a whole ass break from this book and read We Who Will Die in between yesterday and today.. It felt so much less painful than this book.

I cannot stand the MFC. There's naive, sheltered, and then too stupid to live.

She falls in the last category. I am in pain reading her thoughts. Her ideas are bad. Her guilt makes no sense, she cannot emotionally regulate. A toddler is more put together.
