sidelining this book for my research

haven't been able to read much but im really unsure about this book so far; there's not a single person I like and maybe thats the point and maybe that style isn't for me but what am I missing that makes this book so good??? (another than the prose style, which is written beautifully) (milo im trying to trust u!!)

the training kind of reminds me of throne of glass, which i’m loving

update as of a few days ago: it’s funny getting into fantasy again, it can see sort of trivial amongst other books or genres but i can’t help but absolutely love something completely made up — determined to finish this book before may to start summer off with a clean slate

i’ve come to realize my biggest issue with the father haunting the narrative so we don’t actually get any scenes with him, or rather flashbacks. it’s hard to feel sumptuary for the characters when they are mourning someone you know nothing about (until now in the story really)

wow okay chapter 14 was amazing

haven’t read this book in forever, so determined to finish it before summer

absolutely demolished the first few pages. going form story to story is lowk giving me whiplash because they are all so different.

chapter 11 may have saved this entire book for me

i love this book so much but i genuinely could not tell u anything that has happened (mostly bc my ignorant ass can’t pronounce half the names or places and the lore is so intricate and thought out my mind cant even comprehend it) it’s a lot of fun to read tho LOL

making a goal to read a chapter a day and then i might also start another book as well
