Ngl the two mini heists feel like a downgrade from the Ice Court heist but the fabrikator/parem plotline seems promising. We’ll see where it goes for now.

Ahhh Crows, how I’ve missed you dearly🫶 It’s good to be back😌

pls I’m begging for my next read to actually have a plot this time😭 I missed when the books I read actually had a point🫠

May isang dagli kung saan sinabi talaga ng tauhan na “I am a manifestation of your inner child” like???

also if I read dilang-karayom ng manananggal one more time-

“I wish Lottie Lock went to my school so I’d have someone to sit with at lunch.” MY HEART

I’m back to my middle grade novel era and I don’t care💅✨ Kids’ books deserve more credit

The society is growing up and growing apart3

I’m just 78 pages into the book and I’m already excited to see how Lily and Kath’s relationship will develop<3 Them geeking out about space and aeronautics is just so cute, I really hope these STEM girlies get a happy ending.

Also Shirley’s definitely giving manipulator/bully. I hope Lily cuts her off soon because she’s toxic af.

At first I was worried this book wouldn’t have a plot, but now I realize it just lets you get to know the characters first before it incorporates the mystery aspect. I think the slow pace is even more effective in sowing doubt in the characters we’ve come to know. I also relate a lot to the MC not knowing her place in the world, though I do wish the narrative showed more instead of told.
