At first I was worried this book wouldn’t have a plot, but now I realize it just lets you get to know the characters first before it incorporates the mystery aspect. I think the slow pace is even more effective in sowing doubt in the characters we’ve come to know. I also relate a lot to the MC not knowing her place in the world, though I do wish the narrative showed more instead of told.
