Why is the caterpillar hungry? Why does he eat so much? What is he afraid of? It makes me think about how as animals and humans we hoard food as a hedge against hunger in the future? Perhaps sharing is against our nature and it is only concepts of ethics that make us share our food. Can we subject animals to the same ethics? What can we learn from this caterpillar, is it a reflection of ourselves?
