UGHH I CANT STOP SMILING

I’ve been waiting for Gus and Teddy since the first book and I will say, it was worth it

As someone from a small town, it fills my heart as I read about Alexis slowly falling in love with the people and family-like nature that comes with in a small community

Well…now THAT was NOT what I was expecting…I really hope she doesn’t end up with him…WHERE IS THE MMC??!!!

Reread

I take back everything from the last update. There’s a reason it’s written the way it is 😭 the amount of audible gasp I’ve done in the past hour is insane. Talk about unforeseen plot twist

Debating on DNF the book or not…I hate the narration and the way it’s written. It’s like shoving a complex story into a child’s throat and forcing them to retell it. Might see to the end if I feel like it might get better

Some of the scenes make me sick to my stomach…what awful lives these two women had.

Despite this being fiction, there’s a connection of real emotions. Mari’s story is astonishing

Hours flew by in seconds.

Going through so many emotional roller coasters.

Put on a random audio book to fill in time while working and it’s turning out not too bad. I don’t like the MMC but I do admire how he cares for his aunt
