So far, I am enjoying this book. I love books with multiple perspectives, especially historical fiction.

A time when I felt great strength within a community was when our classmate Lucy passed away. It was very hard, and it still is, but our community pulled together. We raised money for her family, and we students honor her in any way we can.

If I were going to die soon anyway, why not go by protecting another person? It doesn't matter if I disagree with someone; they still deserve a long and healthy life.

I would not open my child's box. At the point my child is an adult, and they make their own decisions. I would not exclude them from something that monumental.

He seems sneaky or two-faced, acting as one person for the public but at home he's planning his opponent's downfall. I don't agree with him outing his opponent's string because I think that it should be his opponent's job. If his opponent tells the public then good on him, and if he doesn't then it implodes on him not anyone else.

I would say I believe in miracles, anything can happen, and we all know that, so who says it can't be something good like a miracle?

I don't think I would test my string because if I am going to live a long time, would I want to risk being seriously injured or in some other debilitating condition for the rest of my life?

I think adding the new perspectives creates new insight into what exactly our characters are like according to a new person, not just themself.

Nina can most be described as worried. At work, she was seen visibly distraught and in tears. She is anxious and nervous to tell her girlfriend the bad news.
