Wtf is all this "the lub-dub of my heart" stuff? Lub-dub? Is she serious? Every time I see it written (which is almost every chapter), I cringe.

This book is an anger read now. 🙄

Also, what centuries year old vampire says "I'm so far from good it's not even funny"? I'm sorry but that line was an instant ick for me... instantly put my off.

Little disheartened that Kell is somewhat being phased out. As I am progressing through this book, his chapters are getting shorter, and there are fewer of them. And for someone who is the most powerful magician in their world,the focus seems to be on everyone else but him. I like Lila's character,and her story is interesting,I just think if you're gonna name someone as being all-powerful, the focus should be on them

Skipped from Chapter 12 to Chapter 20! Too boring, I was litrally on the verge of not finishing it and moving onto a different book. But now, in Chapter 27, it's starting to actually get interesting... finally!

I have mixed feelings about this book. Sometimes,I think this book is the worst one I have laid my eyes upon ,but then it does something to redem itself, and the process starts again. Chapter 11 was such a hard read, One word comes to my head describing that chapter, cringe. Carden's move with the pin was the only good thing about that chapter.

I sincerely hope the book picks up because right now... it's just yawn
