Little disheartened that Kell is somewhat being phased out. As I am progressing through this book, his chapters are getting shorter, and there are fewer of them. And for someone who is the most powerful magician in their world,the focus seems to be on everyone else but him. I like Lila's character,and her story is interesting,I just think if you're gonna name someone as being all-powerful, the focus should be on them

I hope this changes, as I am still halfway through. But it is just a pet peeve of mine. Kell is named as feared and the strongest of all, but so far, it is said and not shown. Apart from the scene at the beginning with the ruffians and Rhy, we haven't seen much of his power. Even in the first book, I can not remember a specific scenario where Kell was showing off his true power. I know he has a battle between his minds, and he holds back, but damn.. give me something.
