I enjoyed this last Bible story and I’m looking forward to reading more!

I’m trying to appreciate the author for sticking with the ancient Egyptian terms instead of using more classical words, but I’m constantly searching up the meaning of them. It makes it harder to understand and I can’t enjoy the story fluidly. I’m constantly stopping to search up a meaning because there are so many ancient terms being used that I don’t know.

GO FEYRE!!🥳

This is one of those books where I want to stay up all night long and read. Read until I fall asleep but yet I have to refrain because after all, I am an adult and I must get up early in the morning because I have business to attend to. There’s just not enough time in the day to get everything done and read as much as you want to.😔

So far I’m loving it! It makes me so mad that Tamlin is ignoring Feyre’s internal struggles. I didn’t want Rhysand to beat Tamlin to acknowledging what’s bothering her. Tamlin was so kind and attentive in the first book. I don’t want him to over look her now.😭

Oh how I loathe Arobynn. So sneaky that even Celaena can’t always see through his schemes. He’s cleverly talented. But speaking of talent, dare I say Sam is as good of an assassin as Celaena?👀
She was getting on my nerves SO much during the Assassin’s in the Underworld. Why must she be so cruel to Sam?
I used to root for Chaol but Sam may have taken the top of the list…even though he’s gone.😞

CHAOL IS JUST LIKE SAM! No wonder Celaena felt safe with a Chaol! Sam and Celaena didn’t get along at first and they butted heads but they were forced to be around each other…..JUST LIKE CHAOL AND CELAENA!
The similarities!!!😩😫 I’m loving it!

Man…Kay can’t catch a break. At least Marino is warming up to her, I’m sort of starting to like him. And why are we a third of the way through the book and just finding out she is seeing someone??👀She don’t have time to be in a relationship!!

It’s not bad! I was worried I wasn’t going to be able to immerse myself into the story but the book has proven me wrong so far. The novel is more of a mystery than a thriller and I’m glad to read it because it has confirmed my opinion of thrillers over mysteries.😂
Mysteries are slower paced and I do feel like they’re more repetitive than thrillers. But I heard that this book speeds up so I’m excited!

If I had it in me to DNF a book, I would DNF this one.🙃

I’ve started this book too long ago but slow and steady wins the race.🙂

I’m finally jumping in the ACOTAR bandwagon.🚂

I’m nearing the end of the book and I can’t believe a business book about leadership is making me emotional.
This book emphasizes loving the people on your team, because if you don’t have a passion or love for them then they’ll never trust you, and give you half-hearted effort.
I look at my pastor and see that he encompasses what this book teaches, I can see the love he has for his congregation.

What a breathe of fresh air! I’ve barely started the book but I can already tell it’s going to be good. I feel like
It’s been a while since I’ve started on the right foot with a book.

The advice in the book lays down the uncomfortable truths to being a leader of a group. It also lays down great ways to reduce burn out and/or jealousy. I’ve never thought to rotate opportunities but I know this would help burn out from people that are always counted on. It gives them a break and also gives someone else a chance to shine.

It’s good to be reminded what makes a great leader.
This book makes me want to strive the accomplish how to be a successful shepherd.
To live an authentic life while being compassionate and full of integrity. Being transparent can help build the trust of people around you.
Something I haven’t thought of is to not only look at how to better myself, but the skills of each individual and where they would excel.

I’m not much for violence or getting to know what it’s like inside a serial killer’s thoughts. I don’t watch documentaries of notorious killers for a reason.
Due to one of the main character’s psychopathic personality, I don’t think I’m going to like this book at all. The obsessiveness is honestly cringy and it’s hard to connect with the characters when they’re made to have no emotions at all.

I’m enjoying the tips on how to be an admired leader. So far the book is focusing deeply on being more perceptive to your team.
I feel as though this can also apply to a friend circle, whether a friend gives peace in the construction of your life or makes it more difficult.
As I become a leader within my church, I’ll focus on the strengths of my team, and not what seems like the easiest choice or option.

I’m hoping to gain valuable information with how to lead. Even though this book is business is related it can be used anywhere else, like church or friendships.

Lesson 1: Know the condition of your flock and FOLLOW UP!

I know to do this, but practicing it is a lot different.

This is a good book to read at a coffee shop or park. It’s 2 novellas in 1 book and I’ve just finished the first.

Kenji is one of my favorite characters in the Shatter Me series. During dark times, Kenji is hope embodied in a person. He makes light of traumatic situations, not for himself, but for the sake of his friends. I want for him to peel off the mask so that his friends can be there for him too.

I had to FORCE myself to stop reading. I started my work week and I HAVE to finish the last few pages at home so I can fully enjoy every last moment. I love this book far more than I originally thought and the length is PERFECT. I love that it’s a stand-alone because it doesn’t need any more or less.

Now that I’m further in the book, I fully see all of the things Helena has to done ensure Kaine’s safety.

He would kill everyone to protect her, and she would kill him to protect everyone.

My heart breaks for Kaine. He would do anything for her yet, she kept choosing the people who took advantage of her over him.
I understand why. She could keep helping the Eternal Flame because he was safe. However, when he was exposed for helping them, she sacrificed her own life to make sure he wouldn’t have to suffer.

When I first started this book, I kept thinking, “This is going to take forever.” But really, this book is as large as a complete series, and how I wish there were more books to keep this story going. I can’t believe I’m saddened by being over 50% done when I originally was dreading the long journey to finish it. Funny enough, it hasn’t taken me that long to get where I am. I don’t want it to end!

I’ve spent too many hours reading this book today. I love how Helena and her captor (Ferron) go way back….before her memory takes her. Reading how the present mirrors the past, sometimes identically. I can’t wait to keep reading so I can understand how the Eternal Flame went from winning the war to being totally wiped out and how Ferron is now a leader with the people he was secretly working against??

Wow! It’s crazy how just yesterday I was dreading the journey of this book but now I can’t seem to put it down. I will say, there are a lot of things I don’t understand and a lot more I have to search up to get a better grasp. I think this book was difficult to get into because I was thrown into a new world. It felt like I started off reading the 5th book in a series and skipped all of the world-building.

The gore isn’t as bad, or maybe I’m anticipating it and the grueling details are coming more easily than when I first started reading. The book is so large I’m more concentrated about reading 5 chapters each day than actually enjoying the book. Hopefully I’ll start reading for fun instead of checking a box at the end of each day.
