😭😭😭this book will make you laugh, cheer and tear your heart out of your chest.

Nail-biter!! I saw this book at a used bookstore in Pittsboro and had remembered putting it on my TBR. I was not expecting it to be this good!! It’s a page-turner. Well worth the $5

This book is precious and the characters are wonderful. Love the fanciful yet serious tone of the story—a bit of whimsy amongst the harsh landscape of Alaska and the couple’s past. A nice balance.

If this one isn’t on your TBR, add it. If it is, dont let it sit there too long. Wow

I have a feeling this one will leave a mark..

Ooo plot twist!

Not sure how some have called this boring! I find it to be anything but. There’s some backstory as the plot moves forward but overall it steams ahead full throttle. Enjoying it!

Re-reading most pages twice and highlighting! Tons of great info including the difference between Old and New Testament fasting.

My name is Jennifer and I’ve never read The Chronicles of Narnia. There I said it, but that changes today! I love the dedication page/note to his goddaughter—“some day you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again.”

I’ve loved pulling out the Christian themes and symbols as I know Lewis’ Faith had a heavy influence on the stories.

Absolutely loving this book so far! Plus it’s set in a place that I visited almost every summer as a kid with my grandparents—the quaint, seaside town of Beaufort, NC. Awesome storyline as well!
