I’m listening and reading at the same time in Swedish, it’s not the same as the clips I have seen on TikTok but it’s still funny. The one famous Ikea audio is till fun, but not as good as the original text.

What to say? I find the story more compelling the longer I consume it, and I understand now who the title is referring too. Mr Darcy is Pride and Lizzy Bennet is prejudice as he is prideful and she is prejudice against him. But I wonder what will happen. On another note, the book is still pretty boring had times when i wanted to close it because of the long speeches and general boring dialogue.

I have a hard time reading the book, so I have now started to listen to as I read and i understand more. I think, if the book was written in a more modern way I would have less of a hard time understanding, but with my dyslexia the book is very hard to digest. I like Mr Darcy more, but I have still a hard time understanding Lizzy Bennet.

As of now I like how the usage of the language is but I don’t like how they present a dialogue. I don’t know when action and dialogue is different and it feels very wordy.
I don’t know much about this book except that people like Mr Darcy, but I think I could like him if we, and will, get to know him more. But him being unbecoming is a bit refreshing bc it’s not like the morden oh handsome and brooding.

Wow, so much has happened. Rou and Katt work together and katt explode the careers camp. She loses hearing in her ear. Rou is gone, before katt can reach her district 1 guy kills Rou and katt kills him. The ceremony. New rule, both from same district wins. She finds peeta, he is sick and hurt. Put him to sleep, feast.

Big fire, katniss meet rue in the trees, medicine, wasps, dc 1 girl and 4 girl dead by wasps, katniss hurt once more, peeta saved her.

From book to movie it’s really good.
I like how we only get to follow Katniss and her thoughts as she learns. They have now started the games and plea from Peeta just the day before that he doesn’t want to kill only for him to kill two-three days later. We don’t get to know how or why, only guessing together with Katniss.

I have had my moments of confusion, but I like the small hints that Capitol isn’t what it seems. But I hope we get more in later chapters. Gonna start ch 9

That she got her pin from her friend was something new and what it symbolises, together with the history about Capitol and their mutants.

I always wanted to read this book, but I kinda thought the movies were okey. But I have read two chapters and gonna start on the third and it’s really interesting. I want to continue to see where it takes me.

The friendship between Katniss and Gale doesn’t feel forced like in the movie.
