A significant part of the book is spent on lamenting about each others' problems, discussing quotes from books, a lot of self-pitying and promises to do better. Am more than half way through this books and its becoming a drag....but will finish it seeing that is a debut novel. This is heading for a one of two stars for me at the moment.
