Oh dang, this is going to be a good one. Debut and book 1 in a trilogy and it’s already got me hooked. Its rich language and atmospheric writing are giving Gillig vibes. Yippeeeee

Finallllyyyyy, my slump is nearing its end. Stayed up until 1:30 reading this baby. The tension is TENSIONING. Love the world. Love the side characters. Love a morally grey mmc. She’s dark though kids, make sure you read your triggers.

I’m still *mostly* invested. Sci-fi is def not my genre, but the pacing is excellent and the flashbacks are keeping me grounded.

I mean, I’m intrigued. Lots of humor. Unexpectedly invested considering this is so not my genre.
