Just a side note... There was all this talk about the February trip and now it's March and there was no mention of it whatsoever. So I'm thinking that the author forgot about it bc it wasn't even mentioned! Wouldn't it be a highlight for them to go on a trip together?

This book is too wordy... I think it could use a good editing. We could do with less monologues. I don't think it's necessary to tell where the bottle of water came from 😭 while they were doing the competition. That's just one example of many unnecessary info.

I did like it up until the moment Aileen suggested they send Gavin back. Bc the whole book and the previous ones were heavy on the "separating was a stupid idea" and here we are again and it feels like it's done to add extra angst without it really being needed. We already know that the beast will come for them so why extend it like that? There was no point in doing so!

I don't know if I like this book or not. I'm not very fond of the Hunter monologue and prayer or whatever she does. I find those things triggering for me. I can't handle crazy religious people very well. I'll be skipping this part...

Oh god it's so repetitive 😭 their discussions are the same. The internal monologues are also so repetitive. I'm holding on for dear life but I don't know if I can finish this book. Its very very very repetitive 😭

I really want to 'buy' into this relationship that bloomed out of thin air, with minimum communication but it's not easy. I find Domino's insistent yapping during their sex scenes very annoying. He is talking too much but there is not a lot of substance. The author has built a character but not so much through their interactions but more through their own inner thoughts and ideas of themselves.

Wyatt is very annoying... He acts like a petulant child and not like a grown up who is facing the consequences of his choices...

My heart is aching for Jonah 😭😭😭 poor baby!

Jory really sounds very immature. It gets worse as time goes by! This character infuriates me

The only reason I keep reading is to see if the characters will grow some common sense at any point in these books. There is no common sense. Sam kinda grew a little but not much. Jory is a lost cause. No common sense found yet

I think the author should have eased a little on the fact that EVERYONE wants Jory. Ok he is handsome but the obsession over him after 1 night, that these men have isn't very believable. It sounds so fake
