I'm not sure this sentence is passing the vibe of the ex who is missing his guy. It sounds like something you'd say to an old friend you lost contact with and not a man you were in love with. I'm surprised with this bc usually Josh writes so much better than that

I don't understand why get married? He could have supported him without marrying him. How does that help the case? This doesn't make sense to me.

1st chapter in and the lack of research for basic things isn't very promising.

There are no community colleges in UK. The proper term is either Further Education College, Technical College or Vocational College.

UK don't have community colleges the way the USA has. It would have been better if they used Further Education College, which is more appropriate. Please guys, do your research

I find the way Alex is reacting to who Judd is to be unrealistic and unreasonable! I don't like him right now

I'm just about 15 % in and I do hope that Jamie gets the boot bc he is an entitled little brat. He is definitely using Mickey and I do hope the lifeguard is a good guy! I do hate Jamie. I hope I'm not alone in this one 😂

I find it hard to engage with the book with the way the kidnapping happened. It was ridiculous to begin with and no matter how many "I don't know what happened to me" I read, it won't make it better. The base of this whole book is simple not enough to hold the structure of it

Ugh, I wanted to read this book for some time bc Corbin sounded such an interesting character but the smut talk is so cringe, it annoys me so much 😭 it doesn't suit him and it is a bit ridiculous. I wish I didn't have to skip all their smut scenes.

I am almost at the end of the book but I can't not write about this. Ryan has no business being this upset about his parent's divorce or when and how they told him or that his mum is seeing another man. Kids have no say about the relationship between their parents and I hate it how Ryan feels entitled to details. I understand that kids don't like it when their parents divorce but their relationship isn't about him

Why is Evan even listening to Reid about letting his clan go? The 1st time he said that Clyde wouldn't hurt Chester, he was wrong. What makes Evan think that the 2nd he'll be right? Stupid people with stupid ideas

God I can't wait for when Dalton's book is out. I will want Jackson to ignore him so much that it will hurt so good. He is pissing me off

Ugh the repeated interruption of Danny's proposal is getting a bit annoying. The author is abusing this a little.

God these books are a bit of a disappointment. The dialogues are nonsensical. The "none of your business" and the idea that he just needs to just accommodate their instructions just gives me the ick.

Just a side note... There was all this talk about the February trip and now it's March and there was no mention of it whatsoever. So I'm thinking that the author forgot about it bc it wasn't even mentioned! Wouldn't it be a highlight for them to go on a trip together?

This book is too wordy... I think it could use a good editing. We could do with less monologues. I don't think it's necessary to tell where the bottle of water came from 😭 while they were doing the competition. That's just one example of many unnecessary info.

I did like it up until the moment Aileen suggested they send Gavin back. Bc the whole book and the previous ones were heavy on the "separating was a stupid idea" and here we are again and it feels like it's done to add extra angst without it really being needed. We already know that the beast will come for them so why extend it like that? There was no point in doing so!

I don't know if I like this book or not. I'm not very fond of the Hunter monologue and prayer or whatever she does. I find those things triggering for me. I can't handle crazy religious people very well. I'll be skipping this part...

Oh god it's so repetitive 😭 their discussions are the same. The internal monologues are also so repetitive. I'm holding on for dear life but I don't know if I can finish this book. Its very very very repetitive 😭

I really want to 'buy' into this relationship that bloomed out of thin air, with minimum communication but it's not easy. I find Domino's insistent yapping during their sex scenes very annoying. He is talking too much but there is not a lot of substance. The author has built a character but not so much through their interactions but more through their own inner thoughts and ideas of themselves.

Wyatt is very annoying... He acts like a petulant child and not like a grown up who is facing the consequences of his choices...

My heart is aching for Jonah 😭😭😭 poor baby!

Jory really sounds very immature. It gets worse as time goes by! This character infuriates me

The only reason I keep reading is to see if the characters will grow some common sense at any point in these books. There is no common sense. Sam kinda grew a little but not much. Jory is a lost cause. No common sense found yet

I think the author should have eased a little on the fact that EVERYONE wants Jory. Ok he is handsome but the obsession over him after 1 night, that these men have isn't very believable. It sounds so fake
