Really loving the character development over these 900 pages. There is no more "As if to a child," from Jean-François, no, he must only tap his quill for Gabriel to explain.

i want to crawl in a hole far away from this book and cry every time gabriel thinks its a good time to speak.

this book's amount of cursing alone is enough to make my entire bookshelf blush, never mind a sailor. truly, i push the bounds of my element

OH MY GOD?????? I'm so confused right now I can't!!! Is Andrew making all this up? why did he punch that mirror, is it thomas' fault- is Thomas even real?? Is Dove real? Some of that conversation had to mean something- but if so, could 'Dove' be hinting at something her own mind and consience knew, or something only the forest knew? Maybe it was gaslighting him? I have so many questions and only 40 pages left!!
