These naturals are really smart. Like, Cassie thinks something and immediately everyone knows what or why or the answer to whatever the heck she said. I'm pretty sure this is going to go away after this book, but we can never be so sure.
I wonder if the other naturals use Truth Or Dare to scope out newcomers. It's obvious they each can read eachother (by proximity), but is this ToD just a ploy to read Cassie?

I think mystery books are making me crazy.
Actually, not just think. I know I'm going crazy. Heck, I was right about accusing every single person in this dang natural program /but/ the actual killer. A lot just happened to my thought process over the course of 5 pages. Too much, actually. But I never did expect that plot twist.

..So I was right. But more that I think about it, that plot was too easy.
Anyway I think the killer is Cassie's father now. I think she mentioned him once like a few 30 pages ago, please don't ask me to look it up. That, or it really is Dean as a killer. (I'm sorru guys, I really think he's scaring me. Is it just me?)

Hi Everyone, I'm Annalise and I'm way too immersed in this story (Mainly Dean's) to only be 30 pages in today.
But anyway, I did my research, and if Micheal and Dean know eachother enough to slip neat jabs that Cassie doesn't pick up on, so be it. But I do, because I'm really trying my best to predict this plot..
TLDR: My theory of Dean being the 'YOU' killer stands refueled.

I've always been immersed with the idea of mysteries and solving them myself. I suppose that's why I'm so desperate to pick out foreshadowing from assumable red-herring-throwaways.
Anyway, I wonder if this detail on Dean's right-thumb to wrist scar is significant to his backstory and why he isn't as keen to talk with Cassie. If it's from the base of his right thumb, he couldn't have shielded himself in defense..

Lastly, this page says "Lia's specialty is deception, She had an uncanny knack for being able to tell when people are lying" further proves my "you pov is a past natural" theory. i think our killer is a decepter because of the quote he said in his second 'you' excerpt. This further proves my theory.
I also think I'm already hooked on the mystery on day 1 of reading.. yay.

I also had a theory that Dean was the 'You' killer because of a mininterpreted line ("showing dean why he's here" i thought said 'not here'), but my theory still stood. I think 'You' had something in connection to the Natural program. He says "no manner how many there are, no matter how proficient you've become at showing them whst you are, there is a part of you that knows.", meaning he'd trying to prove himself.

So I (had) a mini theory that the 'You' POV excerpts were from the killer of Cassie's mom, though that's really obvious. When 'You' says "there's nothing special about the girl you've chosen, except for the color of her hair. it reminds you of someone else." could connect back to the auburn hair both cassie and her mother shared, as in the chapter before Cassie mentioned her hair looked "more brunette than auburn"

It's clear that each and every one of them are versed in reading people. It wouldn't be a hard guess to assume these naturals can read theirselves and hide parts of themselves from others (except, a very heavy /maybe/ on Micheal. I call reading he's been with the program only a few months more than Cassie, but it might just be assumptions because I can't find where that was said. Whatever it is, he fits as naturally as the other naturals.) Cassie however has only been with them for, what, a week? If this is the first time Judd is absent, and the agents are gone, this could be Lia (or possibly the whole naturals) way of scoping out Cassie's weaknesses or strengths, since I haven't seen her correctly hide a thought or a guess from anyone of these people. Obviously I assume Cassie will grow better at time, but I just want to get my thoughts down (however nuanced and predictable they may be.)

Oh, also this sparked from the ideas of both Sloane and Lia saying things that Cassie never said outloud. Sloane replying dare statistics when Cassie barely thought of a dare she could have got and Lia daring Cassie to kiss Dean (where Cassie has only mentioned Dean's attractiveness twice now.) I can't think of a moment for Micheal, but that's the inspo for my unneeded commentary.
