Ok, so I just finished the first chapter and… Ive discovered that I hate cheating in a book. Doesn’t matter who the perpetrator is, it makes me feel sick. New trigger unlocked lol. Also, this FMC is 35 yo.. if she is going to be making a ton of stupid decisions I will hate that too. This is why I like the FMC younger, I’m more understanding of stupidity. So we’ll see how this goes.

Also I despise that he and Xeyvier look so similar they could be twins?!! No thanks. MMCs should look very different from each other.

I really really hate Jaxon. I’m tired of him on my page. I’m tired of the liberties he takes with the Princess.

I’m not hating this, but I’m so annoyed with the stupid name “Hidden Henchmen”. Kade is one dimensional so far, and whyyyyyy are they referring to Fae as men and women? It should be male and female. I realize this is fantasy and probably anything goes but it’s a rule in my book. Humans are men and women, Fae are Male and female.

Its bothering me that fae are referred to as men and women and not Male and Female. Just a nitpick. Otherwise I’m into it so far.

I hate Caldrius. He is constantly touching Thea and it makes my skin crawl. I’m confused.. I’m supposed to be creeped out by him right… or is the author wanting this to be a love triangle? They have zero chemistry. Thea just lets him touch her.. her POV is confusing because she is never outright repulsed by it.. she will occasionally push him away and that’s about it.

I’m 60% in and so pissed. He’s supposed to protect her and he just abandons her in the street to chase after his friend?!?!? He’s mad at her so he just leaves her to potentially be murdered when he SWORE he would die to protect her?!?!?!? I hate him so much.

I’m 40% in and.. what am I missing here? I’m not feeling any chemistry between the MC’s.. also, doesn’t she have a broken collarbone and ribs and a busted up face etc.. how is she able to hop up on the counter and almost kick a door down and flop onto her bed to pleasure herself when she’s received no medical aide. It’s really bothering me lol.

I hate this book. A jealousy trope is one thing, but actually having the MMC make out with someone using tongue is another. Such a fucking turn off.

I want to love Dianna but I don’t. Her constant sarcasm is grating. It’s the only thing that comes out of her mouth. It was funny the first 15% of the book, but I’m nearing the halfway mark and it’s unrelenting. And what was the point of going to get passports?Just so she can get poisoned and see a vision of Liam having sex?So weird. Why would we want to see our MMC have sex with someone who isn’t the fmc?

I’m at 70% and I can already tell that Ivan won’t be end game and that Raynnar will be. I hate that so much. How am I supposed to fall in love with any character when this shit happens. I wish I could dnf books.
