Im so sorry but this book is so hard to comprehend, the writing is sophisticated but too sophisticated for me I can’t!!! I have to pay extra attention to what’s going on which sucks because I just want to have a good time right now but it’s ok I’ll get through this (hopefully) But objectively it’s really good and some parts really hit

The writing is very sophisticated haha and goodness Paul is so relatable

Imogene used to collect her own BELLY BUTTON LINT??? I’m cackling what in the world. And she’s so casual about it too, “This is left over from when I used to collect it” as she is presenting in front of an elementary class

I loathe Gladys but Imogene is tolerable..I thought her giving Howard her old raggedy blanket was cute (plus how she stood up for Howard when people took his original blanket)
