If I were Lark, I would have sailed straight past those disgusting men or thrown them out of the boat.😡 But, when you've grown up to be groomed as a bride and told men are more superior to the women in your village, I guess you'd be naive enough to try and save them. I have no idea where this book is going, but it's currently making me so mad and disgusted with its very brutal misogyny. 😤 🤢

🐸🪄💞💘💓🐉 I love these characters so much! I feel like they'd all be super cool to hang out with, including all their crazy quests and mischief they get up to.

I do love a good Dystopian book!
So far we have a world at war, misogyny, homophobia, violence and those who are hiding their voices in plain sight - This is giving all the Divergent, Hunger Games, The Handmaid's tale vibes, and I'm eating it up!!

OHH Trystan, aka possessive Evil Overlord, is serving up some serious - Touch Her and 💀 vibes throughout this book.. 🫠🔥 "No one touches you right now but me" 😍😍😍 I love these characters so much!

💗💔 So far such a fun easy read and reminds me a lot of 'Never Have I Ever' Tv series, which I loved and the movie 'John Tucker Must Die' which is what made me like it in the first place. Let's see if Sacchi can refrain from eye rolling Fahim on their date 😅

I loved the Swan Princess movie when I was growing up, and wow, already, this book is such a haunting yet beautiful retelling of that story. I'm already loving it! 💖🦢✨️
