If I were Lark, I would have sailed straight past those disgusting men or thrown them out of the boat.😡 But, when you've grown up to be groomed as a bride and told men are more superior to the women in your village, I guess you'd be naive enough to try and save them. I have no idea where this book is going, but it's currently making me so mad and disgusted with its very brutal misogyny. 😤 🤢

So far we have a world at war, misogyny, homophobia, violence and those who are hiding their voices in plain sight - This is giving all the Divergent, Hunger Games, The Handmaid's tale vibes, and I'm eating it up!!
