OMG, I got thit so hard. My mind is spin ning. The last 20% of this book were so good. But the rest felt like the authors Berges to find their bearing.

If he dies, I‘ll be pissed! If he‘s revealed to be a bad guy, I’ll be pissed. If this is a tamlin-moment, I’ll be pissed Overall I get the feeling I’ll be pissed at this book! He’s blond. So what, let them have their peace!

Also: if we are mad about Powerless being a Carbon Copy of Red Queen, how does no one talk about how similar this is to Game of Thrones and Fourth Wing? I mean, there is a character called Stark Thereon and this academy is really really close so Basgaith. I’m not mad, but also a little put of.

This is the first book where I do not hate the blond first love. Like he‘s not toxic, cares about the family, helps her out. HOW do you expect me to root for someone else by the end of the book?

You know what I love about modern poetic literature? I get so many inside jokes. This is peak Millenial Humor. But I still feel too uneducated for at least 30% of them. Still. This is not what I thought it would be.

This is one of the best books I read this year. I don’t want it to end. The enemies, the scheming, the politics, the layers of each character, the spice, the love. This is giving TOG but everyone is an adult. And I say this although I really hate the narrator of the MMC. You have Sean Masters in your cast and you give him a supporting role? Just why?

Very close to dnf this. This is such a weird book. And not in a sexy weird way. More in a “these authors need therapy pronto”-kinda way.

I think, I accidentally read literature? Like that was actually well written and there was a subplot going on and so on? However it was still too calm. I want unhinged chaos in my books.

I'm telling you friends: this is twisted sisters for pros. Don't pick this up before reading all the better sh** they wrote! This is like needing a hit and only getting the cheap stuff. Go read Zodiac Academy and all the adjecent series and then if you are really really hooked, you can come to this book to get a hit or maybe not. My brain is fried. Reading about only mad people is maddening.

Finally getting to read Saints Epilogue.

Listening to this for a good reads challenge hoping I can fit 6:07h in 6:00 of listening time …
